Karen Wang

Karen (Kan) Wang, CPA, CA, is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Senior Tax Manager for US and LATAM at Northland Power Inc. since February 2021. In this role, Karen oversees tax aspects of development projects and M&A activities across the US, Colombia, and Mexico, while monitoring tax policy developments and coordinating compliance efforts. Prior to Northland Power, Karen held positions at PwC Canada, where responsibilities included managing U.S. corporate tax services and preparing tax provisions, as well as a financial analyst internship at GE. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University and two degrees from the University of Waterloo in Accounting and Financial Management.
