Luz Camacho Mendez

Luz Camacho Mendez, M. Eng., has an extensive background in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management, currently serving as the Head of HSE for Onshore Renewables at Northland Power Inc. since October 2022. Prior roles include Health & Safety Manager at The Calgary Airport Authority and Manager Workplace & Contractor Safety. Additional experience encompasses various positions at Cargill, Enbridge, MPE Engineering Ltd., and Nestle Purina, contributing to a robust career in HSE. Luz holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Calgary, along with several certifications in health and safety management from institutions such as Universidad Simón Bolívar and Universidad de Carabobo. A foundational degree in Industrial Engineering was obtained from Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira.
