Sean McDermott

Sean McDermott is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Development for Taiwan at Northland Power Inc. since March 2016, where responsibilities include leading project teams in emerging energy markets, focusing on project advancement, regulatory review, market analysis, and contract management. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from August 2011 to February 2016, engaging in contract work for renewable energy and infrastructure firms. Earlier experience includes a Senior Manager role at The Economist, driving significant revenue growth, and serving as the Membership Services Manager at the Canada China Business Council's Shanghai office.
