Curtis Walty

Curtis Walty has over 15 years of experience in media and communications, currently serving as the Media Relations Manager for Northland School Division since October 2012. In this role, Curtis manages media relations and communications for 19 schools, engages with parents and community members, and supports various divisional departments and the board of trustees through strategic communication, event planning, and grant writing. Prior to this position, Curtis worked as an Anchor and Reporter for Rogers Communications from August 2008 to October 2012, gaining extensive skills in anchoring, reporting, editing, and sports and traffic news. Additionally, Curtis began the broadcasting career at Peace River Broadcasting as an Anchor and Reporter, covering events across the Peace Country. Curtis holds a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Mount Royal University, completed in 2007.
