John Banas

John Banas is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Debt & Equity at Northmarq's Philadelphia office, a position held since March 2024, where responsibilities include co-leading office growth and managing lender and borrower relationships throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Prior to joining Northmarq, Banas served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop from April 2018 to March 2024, and held similar roles at Colliers International and Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation. Banas began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 at Bluestone Real Estate Capital, focusing on business development and relationship growth. Educational credentials include a degree in Real Estate from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
