David Derfel is an accomplished culinary and hospitality professional with extensive experience in club management and fine dining. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Northmoor Country Club since February 2017, Derfel previously held the position of General Manager at The Country Club of St. Albans from 2005 to 2017. Earlier roles include Executive Chef at Pelham Country Club and Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley, with significant oversight of culinary operations and revenue generation, as well as ownership of award-winning restaurants in Salt Lake City. Derfel has also gained valuable experience at prestigious establishments such as Union Square Café and The Rittenhouse Hotel, contributing to their exceptional dining reputations. Education includes ongoing pursuit of CCM Designation through the Club Managers Association of America and training at The Culinary Institute of America.
