Beatrice Oluyomi Alowooja, MA, LPCC, is a seasoned psychiatric social worker currently serving as a Senior Psychiatric Social Worker at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center since July 2018. In this role, Beatrice engages with a diverse community to conduct diagnostic assessments and deliver mental health counseling services to youth, young adults, and families, fostering mental and emotional wellness. Beatrice also facilitates Project Murua, a parenting program at the African American Child Wellness Institute, addressing historical and systemic barriers for families of African American children. Previous experience includes roles as a Rapid Rehousing Case Manager at The Link Minnesota and a Case Manager II at The Bridge for Youth, where Beatrice focused on supporting at-risk youth and families. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services and Addiction Studies from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University.
