Alexis serves as the Manager, Operations & Special Projects at Northpond Ventures. Alexis supports the operations and executive teams with a focus on office services, planning strategic internal and external events, and managing facility-related projects across the multiple office footprint. Prior to joining the firm, Alexis worked at Carnegie Institution for Science as the Building Operations & Special Events Manager, where her work included overseeing a renovation of the historical building and growing rental revenue to support the Institution. She worked previously in advertising at Science Magazine (AAAS). She earned her Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University’s School of Media Arts & Design with a concentration in Corporate Communications.
