Jia Liu

Jia Liu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and research. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at North Rock Capital Management, LLC since November 2023, Jia previously held similar roles at Torq Capital Management from April 2018 to July 2023 and at Discovery Bay Capital as Director of Research from October 2015 to March 2018, focusing on global long/short strategies. Earlier career highlights include a Vice President position at China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, with a focus on global consumer and Internet sectors, and an Analyst role at J.P. Morgan. Jia Liu holds two bachelor's degrees in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, respectively, and also attended summer school at the University of Victoria.
