Anna Beckwith

Anna Beckwith is a Post-Masters Data Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory since January 2023, where significant contributions include enhancing the Kaplan-Meier survival model and implementing machine learning models for waste management. Previously, Anna served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington from September 2019 to December 2022, focusing on the Earth’s energy budget through data assimilation methods. Anna holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Physics from Williams College, where engagements included teaching various courses and conducting research on climate data and emissions. Anna's academic background is complemented by practical experiences, including statistical modeling and data analysis at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
