Briana Thrower

Briana Thrower, MSIS, is a highly experienced professional in information assurance and cyber security, currently serving as a Principal Information Assurance Engineer at Northrop Grumman since April 2025. Prior to this role, Briana held positions as a Cyber Security Analyst II at Five Stones Research Corporation and an Information Technology Specialist in the US Army for over a decade. Briana's previous experience at Northrop Grumman includes multiple roles such as Software Analyst and Cyber Information Assurance Analyst. Additional experience includes working as a Computer Support Specialist at UAB Medicine and Helpdesk Technician at Walgreens Health Services. Briana holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and is pursuing a degree in Instructional Leadership with a focus on Instructional Technology from The University of Alabama Graduate School. Briana received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Services from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
