Byron Mueller

Byron Mueller possesses extensive experience in the aerospace engineering field, currently serving on the Chief Engineers Council at Northrop Grumman since October 2021. Prior tenure includes roles as Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager within Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, focusing on airframe structures. As Engineering Manager at Triumph Aerostructures, responsibilities encompassed airframe stress analysis, testing, and personnel development. Previous positions at Bell Flight involved leadership in fatigue analysis software development and airframe structural analysis for new commercial helicopter programs. Early career at Lockheed Martin included leading structural analysis methods for the F-35 program and providing technical support to Korean Aerospace Industries. Byron holds a BSME from the University of Utah, an MBA in Technical Management from the University of Phoenix, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
