Dirk Porath

Dirk Porath is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and management, currently serving as the Systems Engineering Department Manager at Northrop Grumman since January 2012. In this role, Dirk leads over 175 engineers and 12 functional managers, overseeing more than 50 programs across the entire product life cycle. Previous positions at Northrop Grumman include Systems Engineering Manager and DTC Operations Manager, where Dirk focused on process adherence, operational oversight, and risk management. Additionally, Dirk served as Deputy Operations Group Commander in the US Air Force from July 2009 to December 2011. Dirk holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University.
