Megan Chavez is an accomplished aerospace engineering professional currently serving as a System Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman since June 2020, where responsibilities include testing and analyzing data for LiDAR applications and assisting with coded aperture projects utilizing embedded programming skills. As an active member of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's EagleSat II project, Megan contributes to the Memory Degradation Experiment team and engages in C programming. Additionally, involvement in marketing efforts for campus events and participation in a robotics competition showcase versatile skills. As a Project Lead for the Society of Women Engineers, Megan directs a ten-member team in the design and construction of a greenhouse for South Africa. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earned in 2022, and a high school diploma from Thornton High School.
