Melissa Morton

Melissa Morton is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and management. Currently serving as a Research Nurse in the Infectious Disease department at NorthShore University HealthSystem since October 2022, Melissa has held various leadership positions including Clinical Director and Registered Nurse at Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice, and Director of Outcomes and Risk Management at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Additional roles include Director of Quality Improvement at Attuned Care and Director of Professional Services at AstraHealth, among others. Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
