Deonna Dean

Assistant Superintendent, Middle School Instruction at Northside ISD

Deonna Dean, Assistant Superintendent for Middle School Instruction, is responsible for the development of the middle school curriculum, implementing instructional goals, providing campus support and staff development for campus leaders and administrators, and managing the Student Success Initiative.

Her classroom experience includes teaching science at Hambrick Jr. High in Aldine ISD and at Sam Rayburn Middle School in Northside ISD. Before moving to Central Office in 2012, she served as an Assistant Principal at Zachry Middle School and as Vice Principal and Principal at Ross Middle School.

Dean holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Southwest Texas State University.
