Heather Hanami

Heather Hanami is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching and employer relations. Currently serving as a High School Spanish Teacher at Northside ISD since February 2023, Heather specializes in dual language, bilingual education, and special education, effectively creating inclusive learning environments for students with unique needs. Previous roles include a long-term bilingual teaching position at the American Heart Association and various significant positions at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, including Employer Relations Specialist and Assistant Director, where Heather excelled in building employer partnerships and enhancing career development resources. Additionally, Heather has extensive experience as an academic advisor and instructor in interpersonal relationships at Savannah Technical College and the University of South Carolina Aiken. With a Master of Education in College Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication, Heather has developed skills in engagement, collaboration, and support across educational and professional settings.
