Kate Skonberg

Kate Skonberg serves as the Chief Education Officer at Northside Neighborhood House since September 2025, leading the strategic development and growth of the Community Schools initiative. Previously, Kate held various leadership roles in education and community engagement, including Director of Family & Community Engagement and Family and Community Engagement Coordinator at Hamilton County Department of Education, and Teacher Engagement Coordinator at Public Education Foundation. Kate has a strong background in managing teacher leadership initiatives, securing grants, and facilitating professional development, along with experience in nonprofit management from roles such as Associate Director at United Way's Center for Nonprofits and Volunteer Manager at Creative Discovery Museum. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
