Vaughn Sulit

Vaughn Sulit has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 as a Customer Happiness Associate at Baked by Melissa. Vaughn then worked in various roles at the company, including Cupcake Concierge, Project Coordinator, and Interactive Development Manager. In 2015, they became the Director of Digital Experience and Product Manager at Baked by Melissa, where they partnered with an off-shore engineering team to implement 3rd party APIs and developed Google Apps Scripts to automate manual business processes.

In 2017, Vaughn joined uShip as a Product Manager and was later promoted to Senior Product Manager. During their time there, they oversaw the implementation of a new version of the REST API and delivered the company's first cloud-native microservice.

In 2019, they moved to Zume Inc. as a Product Manager before transitioning to a Product Manager role at Spring in 2021. At Spring, they led the migration of a custom domain purchasing product and wrote SQL queries to ensure the functionality of recurring subscription services.

Additional experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Projects & Open Source, where Vaughn developed a companion app for the video game Destiny 2, and at Colada as a Software Engineer and Co-Creator, where they co-created a Vue DevTools plugin and Chrome Extension for time-travel debugging for Vue/Pinia apps.

Most recently, Vaughn is a Full Stack Engineer at Northspyre since 2023.

Vaughn Sulit completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at New York University from 2008 to 2012. They focused on Recorded Music with a minor in English and American Literature. In 2022, Vaughn attended Codesmith, where they completed a Software Engineering Immersive program. Additionally, Vaughn has obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance and as Level I, Foundations in Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI).
