Senior Credit Analyst II - Vice President at Northstar Bank

Dawn Kaltz has a diverse work experience in the banking and financial sector. Dawn began their career at Huntington National Bank in 1991, where they initially worked as a CSR/Teller/Teller Supervisor. Dawn then transitioned to the role of Commercial Lending Clerk before becoming an Assistant Branch Manager/CSR. During their time at Huntington National Bank, they obtained Series 6 and Life licenses and was responsible for branch operations and security, as well as managing branch staff.

In 2002, Dawn joined Community Central Bank as a Commercial Loan Specialist, where they worked until 2011. In this role, they assisted clients with various banking needs and managed branch operations.

Dawn then joined Talmer Bank and Trust in 2011 as a Senior Credit Analyst in the Middle Market Commercial Lending Group. Their responsibilities included underwriting routine and complex commercial transactions, conducting financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, pricing, profitability, and cash flow analysis. Dawn also consulted with lenders on structure and accompanied them on client calls.

Following their time at Talmer Bank and Trust, Dawn joined Commercial Alliance as a Senior Credit Analyst in 2015 and worked there until 2017.

In 2017, Dawn joined Hantz Financial as a Portfolio Manager, a position they held until 2018.

Currently, Dawn is working at Northstar Bank, where they have held the roles of Senior Credit Analyst II - AVP and Senior Credit Analyst II - Vice President since 2018.

Dawn Kaltz pursued their education chronologically, starting with an Associates of Business Administration (ABA) degree from Macomb Community College, which they obtained between 1991 and 1999. Following this, they attended Walsh College, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance in the years 2000 to 2001. Continuing their educational journey, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Masters of Science in Finance from Walsh College between 2012 and 2016. Currently, Dawn Kaltz is enrolled at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is expected to complete their studies between 2022 and 2024.
