Amanda Wilson MD has extensive experience in the medical field, spanning over two decades. Amanda served as a Primary Care Physician at Baystate Area Practice Org and then went on to become the Medical Director of Mercy Internal Medicine Service at Mercy Medical Center. In 2009, they founded the CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers and served as its CEO and Chairwoman of the Board until 2018. Amanda also co-founded Boulder Care and was its Former Chairwoman of the Board from 2015 to 2019. In 2016, they founded the Addiction Research and Education Foundation. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of North-Star Care, a personalized digital alcohol treatment program.
Amanda Wilson MD holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry from Stonehill College, which they earned from 1987 to 1991. Then from 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University Graduate School of Chemistry. Finally, they attended The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont from 1993 to 1997 where they earned their MD degree in Medicine.
