Remote Sensing Scientist at NorthStar Earth & Space

Mohammad Rezaee has extensive experience in the field of remote sensing and satellite imagery. Mohammad is currently working as a Remote Sensing Scientist at NorthStar Earth & Space Inc. Starting in 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the University of New Brunswick, where they held several roles including Researcher, PHD Student, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Instructor Assistant, Stipend Instructor, Image Quality Testing, and Teacher Assistant. In these roles, Mohammad focused on developing methods for automatic registration of satellite-airborne images, using machine learning to extract information from satellite imagery, teaching theoretical and practical aspects of remote sensing, and conducting research in geodesy and geomatics engineering.

Mohammad Rezaee completed their education in a chronological order. Mohammad first earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Tehran, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Remote Sensing and Geomatics Engineering from the University of Tehran, from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, Rezaee enrolled at the University of New Brunswick, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering with a specialization in Remote Sensing. Mohammad attended the University of New Brunswick from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Rezaee obtained a Diploma in University Teaching from the University of New Brunswick in February 2014.
