Richard Ahnen has extensive work experience in engineering roles, specializing in controls and automation. Richard began their career in 1987 as an Application Engineer at Allen-Bradley and then worked as a Systems Design Engineer at IMTA from 1989 to 1991. Subsequently, they served as a Controls Engineer at Quantum Design Inc. for a few months in 1991. From 1992 to 2002, Richard worked at ThyssenKrupp as an R&D Engineer and Senior Controls Engineer. Following this, they pursued self-employment as a Controls Engineer before joining Cardinal Glass as a Process Engineer from 2003 to 2011. Richard then went on to study computer science at Iowa State University from 1980 to 1982.
