SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT NorthStar Regional treats co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders at the same time, in the same place, with the same highly qualified and highly trained staff. Medical, psychiatric, psychological, and social components of treatment are blended to achieve the highest level of success. MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES NorthStar Regional provides individual, marriage, and family counseling services for clients of all ages. We also offer several group programs for those who need more intensive treatment. ASSESSMENTS An assessment is the first step in helping our clients get the proper level of care. We provide both Rule 25/chemical use assessments and mental health assessments. HOUSING Finding safe housing is often an important part of substance use treatment. NorthStar Regional offers housing through our residential programs, intensive outpatient programs with lodging, and sober homes - a total of 336 beds across the system.
