Neal Tornopsky has extensive work experience in the travel industry. Neal began their career at Research International as an Assistant Marketing Manager from 1997 to 1999. Neal then moved on to Northstar Travel Group, where they held various roles such as Classified Sales Manager, Director of Electronic Products & Classified/Inside Sales, Electronic Product Manager, and Director of Digital Media Sales, spanning from 1999 to 2015. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Group Digital Media Director for Travel Weekly & TravelAge West, overseeing the digital portfolio and achieving revenue growth. In 2015, they took on the role of Associate Publisher, Digital for the same publications, where they successfully relaunched their websites and attained sharp revenue growth. Subsequently, they became the Vice President of Digital for The Travel Group from 2017 to 2023, and they are currently the VP Partner Solutions & Sales Success for the Retail Travel Group at Northstar Travel Group.
Neal Tornopsky has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University, where they majored in History/Political Science and Secondary Education. Neal also minored in Environmental Economics. Later, they obtained a Teaching Certification from Kean University, focusing on Secondary Social Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, Neal Tornopsky has also obtained two certifications in digital media sales from IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) in June and May of 2014.
