Rick Charnley

Rick Charnley is the current Investment Director at Northstar Ventures. Prior to this, they held the position of Investor in Residence at Ignite - Sirius Programme from January 2015 to April 2015. In this role, they worked with exceptional founders, assisting them with their growth plans and supporting them through Northstar Ventures' funds and networks. Some of their recent investments include Caspian, Wordnerds, Gliff.ai, Donr, Clixifix, PopTopUK, NFLPickwatch, Ricochet.io, SpecifiedBy, and PopTop. Rick is also involved with Leaf.grow, IoTech & Incuto.

From March 2008 to September 2012, Rick Charnley was the Portfolio Executive at Entrust (Tyne and Wear Enterprise Trust Ltd). In this role, they were responsible for managing a portfolio of early-stage investments and providing support to portfolio companies.

Rick Charnley is a qualified chartered accountant who studied maths and statistics at Newcastle University.
