Christy Matzen, CFP®

Christy Matzen, CFP® has worked in the financial services industry for over a decade. Christy began their career in 2011 as a Community Advisor at Texas Tech University, where they planned and executed several programs throughout each semester that emphasized civility, character, achievement, engagement, and independence, as well as mentored 50 women, predominately first-year college students. In 2012, Christy worked as an Intern at The Capital Chart Room LTD. Christy then returned to The Capital Chart Room LTD in 2013 as an Associate Planning Manager. In 2015, Christy joined Goldman Sachs Ayco Personal Financial Management as a Financial Planner, and was subsequently promoted to Regional Training Coordinator, Manager of Quality, Training & Development, and Vice President. In 2021, Christy moved to Zoe Financial as Director of Financial Planning, and in 2022 they joined J.P. Morgan as Vice President, Business Management and Northstar as Senior Manager, Global Planning.

Christy Matzen, CFP® obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in 2012. In 2014, they obtained the Series 7 and Series 66 certifications from FINRA. In 2019, they obtained a FinTech Law and Policy certification from Coursera. Christy is also a Certified Financial Planner, a certification obtained through the CFP Board.
