Clare Treacher is an aspiring professional with diverse experience in leadership, hospitality, and policy advising. Clare's recent role as an Executive Officer in the Department for Work and Pensions involved a summer internship in the MI team. As Geography Society Welfare Officer at Northumbria Students' Union, Clare coordinated a mentoring scheme for students. Additional contributions include rebranding the Northumbria University Geographical Society's annual winter ball and serving as a Class Representative for Undergraduate Geography, facilitating communication between students and faculty. Clare gained valuable policy experience as a Policy Advisor in the Civil Service Fast Stream program, contributing to a successful team project. Furthermore, Clare has developed strong interpersonal skills through part-time positions in hospitality and represented Portugal in a Model United Nations event. Clare is pursuing a Master of Arts in International Development at Northumbria University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Geography.
