Emma Davey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in marketing and events. Emma started their career as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Northumbria Students' Union in 2014, where they managed all digital communications and maintained the Union's websites. Emma then worked as a Conferencing and Events Manager, responsible for organizing and delivering events and conferences for internal and external clients. Emma also served as a Marketing Manager, leading marketing activities for the Students' Union and its affiliated brands. In their most recent position at the Students' Union, Emma held the role of Head of Marketing, overseeing the marketing strategy, planning, and performance of the organization. Prior to their time at the Students' Union, Emma worked at John Lewis Partnership as an Assistant Editor and later as a Local Editor, where they produced a weekly publication, managed online content, and ensured the magazine stayed true to the John Lewis brand.

Emma Davey attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism.
