Georgina Bailes

Georgina Bailes is the current Secretary to the Board and Head of Governance at Northumbria University. Prior to their current role, Georgina worked as a Policy Adviser for North Tyneside Council, where they provided policy support and advice to the Council’s Chief Executive, Elected Mayor and senior decision makers. Georgina also worked as a Regional Adviser for the Government Office for the North East and as an Initiatives Officer for Villages Housing Group.

Georgina Bailes has a Criminal Justice BA (Hons) from Liverpool John Moores University and a bachelors from Prudhoe County High School.

They work with Adam Dunlop - Chief Marketing Officer, Dan Monnery - Director of Strategic Planning, and Graham Wynn - Pro Vice-Chancellor, Education. Their manager is Tom Lawson, Interim Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive.
