Barbara Thierart

Barbara Thierart-Perrin is the President of Northvolt Systems, overseeing full P&L responsibilities in the battery systems sector, including energy storage, industrial applications, and automotive markets. Thierart-Perrin also serves as an independent board member for Kempower and Tekna, alongside involvement with Team for the Planet. Previous roles include Vice President of Planning at Nissan Motor Corporation, where leadership was provided in product planning and market intelligence, and Vice President at Groupe Renault focusing on global P&L for accessories and merchandising. Education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Marketing from Saginaw Valley State University and ongoing studies at Harvard Business School.
