Carsten Marter

Carsten Marter is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in power conversion systems and microgrid applications. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Northvolt since September 2021, Carsten previously held the role of Project Engineer at Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, where responsibilities included managing requirements and driving project releases. Prior to that, Carsten worked as a System Engineer at Younicos AG, focusing on developing converter control software for storage applications. Carsten's career began in academia as a Scientist in the Research Group "Computational Acoustics" at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences, where numerical algorithms for acoustic simulations were developed. Carsten holds a Master of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden.
