Luc Hovan

Luc Hovan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in purchasing, integration, and operational excellence within the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Integration & Infrastructure, Operational Excellence, and Purchasing at Northvolt since November 2017, Luc played a pivotal role in establishing the purchasing function and securing key suppliers for industrial projects in Sweden. Previous positions include Director of Purchasing at HERE Technologies, where Luc contributed to autonomous driving and navigation projects, and various leadership roles at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, including General Manager of Global Alliance Purchasing and Senior Purchasing Manager. Early career experience includes roles at Nissan Motor Corporation and Valeo Lighting Systems, contributing to purchasing strategies and international operations. Luc holds degrees from emlyon business school and Waseda University.
