Marek Kabala

Marek Kabala is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in robotics and functional safety. Currently serving as the Director of System Engineering at Northvolt since August 2020, Marek specializes in battery systems' functional safety, production testing, and BMS design and development. Prior roles include Senior Lead Engineer at Etteplan, where project leadership and functional safety analysis were key responsibilities, and positions at Espotel, including Chief Design Engineer and Lead Engineer, where software and solution design were pivotal. Marek holds a PhD in Robotics from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, as well as a Master's degree in the same field, complemented by an Electronics Technician qualification.
