Nuwan Dissanayaka

Nuwan Dissanayaka is an Associate Automation Engineer at Northvolt, where responsibilities include leading the commissioning of the Warehouse Control System within the Manufacturing Execution System, successfully completing all commissioning activities for the Formation and Aging Process in 15 months. Previous experience includes a part-time engineering role at CodeGen International, developing a sustainable Redox flow battery prototype, and serving as a Research Engineer at the University of Peradeniya, fostering an innovative culture in automation projects. Nuwan’s career also features significant contributions to Midas Safety Sri Lanka as an Assistant Manager in Robotics and Plant Automation, initiating the first Robotic glove dipping plant. Earlier roles at Ansell and Ceylon Petroleum Corporation provided foundational technical skills in automation and engineering. Nuwan holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Robotics and Control and a Master's in Intelligent Automation, reflecting a strong academic foundation in engineering and technology.
