Brett Ruffo, MD, FACS, FASCRS, serves as the Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Peconic Bay Medical Center under Northwell Health. Previously, they held the position of Director of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Peconic Bay Medical Center from 2007 to 2019 and owned Real Time Neighborhood from 2015 to 2018, a venture aimed at enhancing the patient experience. Brett is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Ross University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University. They completed their General Surgery Residency and Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency at Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center.
