Calvin D. Sun

Calvin D. Sun, MD, is the Founder and CEO of The Monsoon Diaries, a travel company that evolved from a blog specializing in budget backpacking trips to over 200 countries and territories. In addition to travel, Calvin serves as an attending physician in various emergency departments, including Northwell Health and previously at NYC Health + Hospitals and Mount Sinai Health System, where responsibilities included mentoring medical residents. As a public speaker, Calvin has delivered keynote presentations, including a TEDx talk, at numerous conferences and universities across the country. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Columbia University and a Doctor of Medicine in Emergency Medicine from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University.
