David Rosenthal

David Rosenthal, DO, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine since December 2009, while concurrently holding multiple leadership roles at Northwell Health, including Medical Director of the Center for Transgender Care and the Center for Young Adult, Adolescent and Pediatric HIV. As the founding medical director for the Center for Transgender Care, David oversees the coordination of clinical, research, and educational initiatives. David's notable expertise also extends to allergy and immunology, with a background in research concerning recurrent respiratory papillomatosis at The Feinstein Institute. An experienced academic, David's past roles include Managing Editor for the Journal of Clinical Immunology and Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. David earned a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the Elmezzi Graduate School and completed fellowships, residencies, and training in allergy/immunology and internal medicine at various prestigious institutions.
