Leslie B. Ramirez

Leslie B. Ramirez is an experienced professional in the field of assisted human reproduction, currently serving as the Laboratory Director at Northwell Health Fertility since October 2020. Prior to this role, Leslie held the position of Assistant Director at Extend Fertility from January 2016 to September 2020, which is known as the first service of its kind in the U.S. Additional experience includes roles as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Embryologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital, along with serving as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School. Leslie's educational background consists of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction from the University of Valencia, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. Leslie's academic journey also includes time as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Southampton and an internship at Médica Fértil.
