Shari Torres

Shari Torres is a highly experienced healthcare professional, currently serving as the Senior Director of Critical Care at Northwell Health since March 2019. In addition to this role, Shari holds the position of Director of Nursing Education and Professional Development at Fordham University since January 2011. Shari's extensive experience includes a tenure at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital from July 2008 to September 2021, where roles encompassed Clinical Nurse Leader-Nurse Educator and Emergency Department Educator. Shari has also served as Clinical Manager, Emergency Pediatric Charge Nurse, and Registered Nurse. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) obtained from Stony Brook University between 2013 and 2015, a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Stony Brook University completed in 2006.
