Shianne Ali

Shianne Ali is a QA Automation Engineer at Northwell Health since July 2021, where Shianne developed a hybrid automation framework supporting UI, API, and database testing, utilizing BDD and DDT approaches with technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, Junit, Cucumber, and Maven. Shianne's efforts in converting manual test scripts to automated scripts resulted in significant cost savings of over $100,000 annually and a 40% reduction in manual testing time. Prior to Northwell Health, Shianne worked as an Automation Tester at MICROS Systems Inc, where Shianne led the shift from manual to automated testing, and as a Manual Tester at GEICO, where Shianne conducted extensive manual testing on web-based applications. Shianne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, obtained in May 2018.
