Simon Kapochunas

Simon Kapochunas has extensive experience in labor and employee relations, having served in various leadership roles at Northwell Health from May 2023 to February 2024, including Vice President of Employee Relations Strategy & Initiatives and Senior Corporate Director of Labor & Employee Relations. Prior to this, Simon was the Assistant General Counsel at the City of New York's Mayor's Office of Labor Relations from October 2008 to August 2011. In addition to professional roles, Simon served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hofstra University's Department of Health Professions from July 2017 to December 2018 and has participated as a speaker at notable conferences on workforce engagement and employment law. Simon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a Legal Concentration and a Minor in Business Administration from Northeastern University, as well as a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
