Barb Renfro

Barb Renfro, CRCM, CAMS has a diverse work experience in the field of risk management and audit. Barb started their career at American Share Insurance in 1998 as a Senior Financial Analyst. Barb then joined KeyBank in 2002 as a Senior Auditor in Consumer Credit and later worked at National City Bank as a VP & Audit Specialist.

In 2008, Renfro returned to KeyBank and served as an SVP & Senior Audit Manager until 2017. During this time, they also worked at PNC as an SVP & Director of Internal Audit Compliance from 2017 to 2018.

Renfro then joined KeyBank again in 2018 and held the position of SVP & Director of Enterprise & Operational Risk Management until 2022. Barb was then promoted to SVP & Risk Management Director, specifically for Laurel Road National Digital Bank until their most recent position at Northwest Bank as SVP & Audit Director, which they started in 2024.

Throughout their career, Renfro has gained extensive experience in managing risk, conducting internal audits, and specializing in compliance. Barb'sdiverse experiences have equipped their with valuable skills and expertise in the financial industry.

Barb Renfro, CRCM, CAMS, completed a BBA in Finance from Ohio University from 1993 to 1998. In 2014, they attended the American Bankers Association (ABA) National Compliance School. Continuing their education, in 2015 they obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification from the American Bankers Association. Subsequently, in 2016, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification from ACAMS.
