Owen Lachat

Owen LaChat has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Owen currently holds the position of Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Northwest Bank since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Corporate Vice President and Network & Systems Engineering Manager at Northwest Bank from April 2021 to September 2022. Owen also worked as an Information Security Manager at Northwest Bank from April 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining Northwest Bank, Owen worked at MutualBank where they held various leadership positions. Owen served as the Vice President and Technology Infrastructure & Security Manager from May 2017 to April 2020, as the Vice President and Information Security Officer from January 2014 to May 2017, and as a Senior Information Technology Auditor from October 2012 to January 2014.

In addition, Owen has experience working at Mutual Risk Advisors, Inc. as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director from March 2016 to April 2020, at TSM Corporation as a Cyber Security Technical Team Leader from July 2010 to September 2012, at Ball State University as an Information Systems Security Auditor from November 2007 to July 2010, and at the City of Muncie, Indiana as a Patrolman/Detective from May 2002 to November 2007.

Owen LaChat holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including XRY Physical, G2, Advanced GPS Forensics, AccessData Certified Examiner, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), GSEC, and Indiana Law Enforcement Basic Course 02-153.
