Kristyn Power, CFA, has over 20 years of experience in various financial roles.

Kristyn is currently the Program Director for Canada at Northwest Biotherapeutics, a position they have held since April 2021.

Prior to that, Kristyn worked at Deloitte Canada from 2013 to 2021. Kristyn held multiple roles at Deloitte, including Valuation and Modeling, where they provided advisory support for financial planning and implemented strategies for government ministries. Kristyn also worked in the Forensic department, supporting activities related to purchase and sale of businesses, corporate strategy, tax planning, and financial reporting purposes.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Equity Analyst at TELUS, where they assessed potential equity investments for the Telus Pension fund and provided stock selection recommendations.

Before that, they worked from 2008 to 2011 as a Senior Financial Analyst at Telus Sourcing Solutions Inc., where they contributed to the development of business cases and conducted budget analysis.

Kristyn also has experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Intuit Canada from 2005 to 2008, and as a Business Analyst and Commodity Merchandiser at Saskatchewan Wheat Pool from 2003 to 2005.

Kristyn started their career as a Marketing Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers BPO Solutions in 2001 and interned at the Northern European Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs in the same year.

Kristyn Power, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance, General from the University of Alberta. In 2009, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. In 2014, they obtained Secret Security Clearance from the Federal Government of Canada. Furthermore, in 2018, they achieved the CFA Institute CE Program 10 Year Milestone.
