Ryan Schierholz is an experienced finance and project management professional with a robust background in various roles throughout their career. Currently serving as the Vice President of Project Management, Reporting & Facilities at Northwest Community Bank, Ryan has held multiple positions within the organization since February 2022. Prior to this, Ryan spent over a decade at COCC, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional operations and managing client relationships as a Senior Relationship Manager. Ryan's earlier experience includes positions at the American Red Cross as an Account Manager, Liberty Mutual as an Account Executive, and various roles in mortgage lending and banking. Ryan holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Albertus Magnus College, complemented by additional training from the Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance and the American Management Association.

Different from a commercial bank with stockholders, community leaders founded Winsted Savings Bank in 1860. In 1875, local business leaders founded Mechanics Savings Bank of Winsted (later Northwest Bank for Savings). Both banks supported the development of Winsted, CT and surrounding towns through savings, loans and personal relationships with their customers.
