Andy Joslyn possesses extensive experience in regulatory services and environmental resource management. Currently serving as the Director of the Division of Regulatory Services at the Northwest Florida Water Management District since September 2017, Andy is responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing, and enforcing regulatory responsibilities. Previously, Andy held several positions at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection from May 2005 to September 2017, including Program Administrator for compliance assistance and enforcement across various environmental programs, and Environmental Resource Program Administrator focusing on wetland and stormwater permitting. Early career experience includes serving as an Environmental Specialist at the Florida Department of Health. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Alabama.

Northwest Florida Water Management District
One of five water management districts created by the Water Resources Act of 1972, the Northwest Florida Water Management District is charged with managing the water resources of the Florida panhandle. The District works to protect and manage the water resources in a sustainable manner that benefits both the people and natural resources across its 16-county region. The District focuses on its core missions of water supply, water quality, flood protection and natural resource protection through a variety of activities, including water quality and quantity monitoring, research and planning, regulatory activities and permitting, and land acquisition and management.
