Samantha Bishop is a seasoned professional in community and economic development, currently serving as a Community and Economic Development Representative at Northwest Georgia Regional Commission since September 2019. Prior to this role, Samantha held the position of Faculty Credentialing and Grants Assistant at Georgia Northwestern Technical College from June 2015 to September 2019, and taught a college success course as an Adjunct Instructor at Georgia Highlands College in 2012. Additional experience includes administrative roles at Georgia Highlands College and the University of West Georgia from 2007 to 2011. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of West Georgia, along with an Associate’s degree in General Studies from Floyd College.
