Gene Worifah

Gene Worifah is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in property accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Bilingual Property Accountant at Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT since October 2022, Gene previously held roles at Chartwell Retirement Residences in bilingual property accounting and operations finance, and at Wolseley Canada Inc. as a senior accountant focusing on general accounting and process improvement. A founding director of Rapid Financial Services Ltd, Gene's career also includes significant positions at Citi, where leadership roles encompassed finance controls and financial management across multiple regions in Africa, and at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities included internal auditing and financial administration. Gene holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Cardiff University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in Ontario, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). Additionally, Gene has a postgraduate certificate in Development Management from The Open University.
