Simon Betty is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the real estate and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Europe at Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT since March 2023, Simon previously held the position of CEO at Adina Apartment Hotels from December 2020 to March 2023. Simon's long tenure at Hammerson from June 2006 to April 2022 included roles such as Corporate Development Director, Head of Strategy, and Managing Director for City Quarters & Developments, along with significant responsibilities on the UK Executive Board. Simon's educational background includes a Leadership and Global Sustainability degree from the University of Cambridge and an MBA with distinction from Cass Business School, complemented by studies at institutions such as Business School Sao Paolo and Singapore Management University. Simon's academic foundation is strengthened by a BSc (Hons) in Land Economy from the University of the West of England.
